Request for Proposals for Characterization of Recreational Activity

Mar. 12, 2014—The Northeast Regional Ocean Council and the Northeast Regional Planning Body have released a new RFP to develop products characterizing coastal and marine recreational activity in New England. This project would build on previous and ongoing efforts, which have focused on recreational boating and recreational fishing. The scope of this RFP includes other activities, including wildlife viewing (including commercial whale watching), non-motorized boating (kayaking and canoeing), diving, surfing, events such as regattas and sailboat races, fishing derbies, and other recreational activities that occur in the near- and off-shore marine environment in New England.

For more information, view the full RFP here.
